so this number belongs to talktalk, but I wasn’t aware of the costs involved when calling it. talktalk ended up charging me £35.42, and on top of that, ee billed me £4.91. i raised a complaint with ee but they told me it wasn’t their problem, which I guess makes sense. next step, I’ll get in touch with talktalk and find out what’s going on.ed

Was trying to join TalkTalk and got charged 46p for a 10 second call. Not worth it at all! They love making money off these short calls, I’m not doing it again.

I got charged £7.67 for a call that went on for like 44 minutes to 08439032123, which turned out to be a TalkTalk service number. The funny thing is, I was actually calling them to report scam calls from people pretending to be TalkTalk! They said they’d refund the money, but still, I really didn’t think I should’ve been charged at all. Best advice: always keep an eye on your phone bills!

I called what I thought was TalkTalk's customer support, assuming it was free since I'm a customer with them. Turns out, they billed me £7 for a 37-minute chat. Absolutely ridiculous!
