My phone buzzed for just a second before cutting out. Turns out the number is one of those premium line ones where if you call back, the phone company and the scammer split the cash. Feels like a total rip-off designed to get people to throw money at them without realising. I’m wondering what on earth the phone companies are doing to actually tackle this mess? It’s got to stop.

this number has called me about 4 times this week but everytime I pick up, they just hang up straightaway. really strange!
