Got a call from this number and a few others like it, but I never pick up (wouldn’t even get the chance if I wanted to). They’re just trying to get you to ring them back so they can peddle stuff and charge you for the call. Pretty sure they ring loads of people hoping some will call back. I honestly thought it was just me dealin with these annoying calls! Ive blocked loads of numbers but they just keep comin from different ones. It all kicked off when i picked up a call from someone claiming to be an advisor askin if id been in a car crash recently - which i wasnt. I told them no, and they started shoutin at me on the phone. Since then, like 7 months ago, ive been flooded with these calls nonstop.

I won’t even say what I really reckon about these lot here. What’s really scary is how often they must be pestering people who are vulnerable.

I keep getting calls from 0843 numbers that ring just once, so I block them, then the next day another similar number calls me and the same thing happens. So far I've blocked 41 numbers like this. My number's been on the TPS for more than 2 years now. I even contacted O2 to report these calls and asked them if they could trace the numbers, but nothing’s been done yet. It’s so frustrating how these calls still manage to get through.
