I get calls from this number at least three times daily, without fail. Whenever I pick up, the call just ends straight away. It’s been going on for over half a year now, but I never really understood what’s behind it… until today. While checking my phone contract, I was asked if I wanted to set a spending limit. I asked for more info, and they explained that such a limit can stop scam calls that try to charge you fees. That’s when I realised the calls from 0843 866 1681 were definitely scams, trying to bill me for answering. Proper dodgy numbers.
