I've gone ahead and reported this number and placed it on my blocked list. Seems to be one of those pesky Wangiri scams. Thought it would be helpful to let everyone know!

Just got called by a wangiri scam number. Make sure you report it to 7726, don’t ring back or you’ll end up losing money. The blood transfusion centre needs to raise this issue with OfCom and also tell your MP to sort this mess out!

Got a call earlier from someone pretending to be about an emergency blood transplant - total spam. I’ve blocked the number straight away. If you get one of these calls, just do the same and starve them of your time. Could be carrying out scams that might disrupt someone really needing a blood transfusion. Reported it to BT and Ofcom so hopefully they’ll crack down on these time-wasters soon.
