I'm noticing a rather dodgy pattern with calls that seem to hang up, presumably to entice the recipient to return the call. It turns out that if you do call back, you could be racking up charges of up to 7p, which is all fun and games for the shady company behind these drop calls. My suggestion? Just block those numbers and steer clear of any 0843 ones you come across. EE is currently looking into these 0843 calls, so it's worth keeping an eye on their updates. Cheers!
