After looking into this number, I found out it’s linked to some kind of call probe system. Basically, it checks if you pick up, then saves your number to sell on to other scammers who’ll try to nick your info, cash, even your home or car. I tracked the number with routing tools and sent the info about the company behind it to Ofcom and BT, hoping they’ll take action against these crooks.
