Beware of scammers! They get you on the phone asking for your bank details, mobile number, even your mum's maiden name. No genuine bank would ask for that info over the phone. Just hang up straight away and call your bank yourself to check if there’s any problem with your account.

I picked up and as soon as I did, the caller just dropped the line. So yeah, I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

so some bloke claimed he was from a Nigerian bank out of israel or summat? could hardly make out a word he was saying, kept pushin me for my deets like mad, real pushy stuff. then he wanted me to say 'yes' or 'no' a few times over the phone. sounds dodgy to me, especially with those scammy tricks where they try to snag your voice for messing with phone banking. honestly, watch out, this smelt like trouble right away.

Got a call from this number, it was some recorded message claiming I'd won £1,000. Honestly, don’t give out any of your info. Just hang up, block it and report the number. Total scam!

I got a call from this number, they barely said anything before hanging up. Definitely looks like one of those scams trying to make you ring them back so they can charge a fortune. Best to just block it and not bother returning the call.

Sounds like it’s just more of those annoying ppi calls or something like it. Honestly, it’s driving me mad. Blocked them straight away.
