Seems like they're trying to trick people into returning a missed call. It's definitely a con if you pick up. And if you're daft enough to ring them back, you're stuck with a huge call back fee. I followed the directions on the police Action Fraud site and sent a text to 7726 to report it.

Pretty sure this is just spam or some kind of scam, since BT stopped using 0843 numbers ages ago.
