I asked a few questions and the person on the other end just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

This is one of those wangiri scams, honestly. Loads of people here in the UK end up ringing back missed calls from numbers they don’t recognise, and these scammers are cashing in on it big time. If you get one of these, just send a text with the number to 7726 like the police say on their Action Fraud site for phishing reports. Easy way to help stop the crooks.

Got a call that lasted maybe 5 seconds before they just cut off. Usually these are dodgy calls. I reckon they want you to call back so you end up paying a fortune on the line.
