I picked up as soon as the phone rang but the moment I did, they just cut off. Really irritating, seems like some sort of spam or scam call to me.

Got another call from someone claiming to be from the emergency blood and transplant team, but turned out to be some dodgy anonymous number. If you get a similar ring, just block it. Honestly, these calls could be stopping real urgent transfusions for someone’s family. I’ve already reported it to Ofcom and BT, hope they take action against these timewasters soon.
