In the end, I didn’t press any buttons, and the call cut off before I had the chance to respond! What struck me as strange was how the voice was quite soft and it didn’t seem to mention their company name or anything of that sort; all I caught was that I’d been chosen for a cash prize, which I think was either £1,000 or £3,000, or a shiny new iPad. Quite the unexpected encounter!
