i got a call from 3 mobile trying to sell something, but it felt a bit dodgy, could have been a scam i guess.

On Friday 12th September, this number rang me on my PAYG mobile, which I mainly keep for a handful of contacts. So whenever I spot an unknown number, it's usually spam. I often get calls from numbers starting with 0843 724 or 0843 654, changing only the last 4 digits, about once a week but not exactly regular. Once, I actually picked up one of those calls. After a brief silence, an automated message began, and I quickly ended the call then.

On 24th of September they rang me twice, once about 5.14pm then again at 5.49pm, same thing happened the two days before. I didn’t pick up but seriously, who are these pests? They really ought to be stopped. We’re registered with TPS but it doesn’t seem to do any good, why is that?

Got a missed call from this number on the 15th of September 2014 at about 5:57pm. Honestly, it’s so frustrating - really think something needs to be done about these calls. If it was a work phone I’d be proper annoyed! Luckily, mine’s usually on silent cos I’m at work, but it’s still a nuisance. This shouldn’t be happening at all.

I've been getting automated calls from some pension review place, they ring me and my missus at least twice every day. Yesterday, I also got a call from 08436546864 about an accident I know nothing about, so I reckon it might be linked to the same firm. Does anyone know how to figure out who's behind these calls? One warning though - don't ever ring them back or press 5! They'll just keep harassing you and might even charge you for it!
