I avoid picking up 08 numbers. I always check them on a call finder first and read what others say about them. Such a pain!

This number (and a few others) keeps ringing almost every day, no matter what time it is. When I pick up, it’s either dead silence, recorded sales pitches, accident claim calls or straight up scammers. I’ve started to just ignore my landline when it rings now and use 1471 afterwards to check if it’s someone I know. Honestly thinking about ditching the landline altogether since I never bother answering it anymore. Proper fed up with all these annoying calls and spam!!

I've found an astounding 95% of such calls fall into this unpleasant category. Hey Linda, You might want to consider downloading a free application. Personally, I've got 'Mr Number' on my phone. It produces a delightful little buzz whenever it detects an unsolicited call, then promptly dismisses it without a sound. Every time they try to reach me, it’s a little win for my wallet too, which brings me immense joy. Cheers! :)

After dealing with so many annoying calls from PPI firms and charities I’ve given to, I’m seriously reconsidering whether to book online like that again.
