I got a call and the person on the other end kept asking if I was a different person. When I told him he’d dialled the wrong number and said sorry for the mix-up, he tried to say he could assist me. Pretty clear it was just a scam to start a sales pitch. I quickly told him no thank you and hung up straight away.

I tried calling this number back but stopped when I saw it was one of those premium rate lines. I nearly got caught before by some scam like this - had to fork out £3 the last time I made the mistake. Definitely a dodgy number, silent and all. Total scam if you ask me.
