I received an automated ring today from some PPI firm, urging me to hit 5 if I wished to discover how much compensation I could claim for an accident. Now, I must point out that I've never been in any sort of accident, so this whole thing seems rather fishy to me. Plus, it’s obviously from one of those premium-rate numbers. I can’t shake the feeling that this is all a ruse designed to get you to call them back - probably costing a small fortune per minute! Just a heads up to everyone out there; stay vigilant!
