Oddly enough, when I try ringing them back, the call just gets transferred, and there's complete silence on the other end - it’s quite bizarre. Could this be some sort of scam, or perhaps someone is using a fake number?

I've received a dozen calls that I've completely missed, with no voicemails left behind. When I attempted to return the call, it seems to reroute me to a different number-possibly overseas? The phone picks up automatically, yet there’s utter silence on the other end. I'm starting to wonder if this might be yet another scam attempt or if someone's playing tricks with the caller ID.
