I recently had a right muppet trying to convince me that if I’m in the red to the tune of a fiver, I could simply wipe off 70% of it by hitting the number 5. Let me tell you, whatever you do, don’t go pressing 5! It will only end up costing you dosh!

I received a rather odd automated communication regarding the possibility of reducing 70% of my debts, with mention of a figure around £5000. To add to the confusion, two hours later, they followed up with a text concerning a PPI claim linked to my loans. Quite baffling!
