I picked up the phone and was greeted by a pre-recorded voice claiming, "Congratulations, you've won £250!" I swiftly ended the call right then and there.

I missed a call from this number, so I decided to give them a ring back with my number hidden. The line picked up automatically and I was greeted with a rather dubious message claiming, "Congratulations, you've won £250 in high street vouchers or an iPad 3! Just press 2 to claim your prize..." Naturally, I cut the call short right there. It definitely reeks of a scam, if you ask me.
