I’VE GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT!!! The initial call from this number was completely silent, but the second was from someone called CRAIG INSURANCE (CIS). They started going on about some supposed outstanding loans or the like. I graciously made an excuse about a visitor at the door and asked if I could call back, genuinely keen to have a chat. The woman on the line, who introduced herself as KATY, instructed me to call a Swansea number: 01792323064, and specifically ask for her. How amusing! After that, I decided to do a 1471 check, only to find out that the originating number was, indeed, 08435600028-a premium rate line! Here’s where my little plan comes into play! I’ve got nothing on this afternoon, so I’ve been dialing 14101792323064 and keeping silent. The 141 prefix ensures they have no clue who’s trying to reach them-oh, what a shame. The person who picks up sounds absolutely fuming; can’t imagine why that might be! Any thoughts?

BOTHERING CALLS from 08435600028
Alright folks, I’ve just had an annoyance of a call from CRAIG INSURANCE (CIS). They rattled on about some supposed outstanding loans or something along those lines. I politely asked if I could ring back as I claimed someone was at my door, given I was quite keen to chat. The woman, who introduced herself as KATY, instructed me to ring a Swansea number - 01792323064 and request her directly. After that, I did a 1471 to trace the call, and lo and behold, it turned out to be from 08435600028, which is a premium number!
Just yesterday, I received a silent call from them, so it seems they're at it again.
If you’ve been hounded like I have, perhaps it’s time to give them a taste of their own medicine.
I’ve lodged a complaint about the 0843 number with Ofcom.

I’ve been receiving calls from CIS Swansea urging me to file a PPI claim.

Today, I found myself on the receiving end of not one but two of these bothersome calls. The first came in around half past nine this morning, and the second just after half past seven in the evening. Each time, it was like there was some muffled chatter, but then it went utterly quiet. The last chap who rang himself “Jordan” claimed he was from an insurance firm of sorts. I must admit, I was rather incensed this time and shouted, “Just buzz off! I want nothing to do with you! I'm on the TPS list!” before hanging up rather forcefully.

This morning, shortly after half past nine, I received a call from this number, but thankfully I was away from home at that time! They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, and as far as I can recall, this is the very first time I’ve had a call from them. I’m certain it won't be the last encounter, though! Honestly, the sheer volume of unsolicited calls and scams these days is becoming unbearable! Even with a TPS registration, those pesky nuisances keep flooding in.
