I’VE GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT!!! The initial call from this number was completely silent, but the second was from someone called CRAIG INSURANCE (CIS). They started going on about some supposed outstanding loans or the like. I graciously made an excuse about a visitor at the door and asked if I could call back, genuinely keen to have a chat. The woman on the line, who introduced herself as KATY, instructed me to call a Swansea number: 01792323064, and specifically ask for her. How amusing! After that, I decided to do a 1471 check, only to find out that the originating number was, indeed, 08435600028-a premium rate line! Here’s where my little plan comes into play! I’ve got nothing on this afternoon, so I’ve been dialing 14101792323064 and keeping silent. The 141 prefix ensures they have no clue who’s trying to reach them-oh, what a shame. The person who picks up sounds absolutely fuming; can’t imagine why that might be! Any thoughts?

ANNOYING CALLS from 08435600028 Just wanted to warn everyone about a call I got from a company called CRAIG INSURANCE (CIS). They were rambling on about some unpaid loans or something like that. I quickly said someone was knocking at my front door and asked if I could ring back later since I actually wanted to chat. The woman, who said her name was KATY, then gave me a Swansea number to call - 01792323064 - and told me to ask for her. Out of curiosity, I did a 1471 check and guess what? The original call came from 08435600028, which turns out to be a premium rate number! Just yesterday, the same company rang but said nothing - just silence. They've been persistent to say the least. If you’ve had calls like this, maybe consider hitting them back in some way. I’ve already reported the 0843 number to Ofcom.

Got a call from CIS Swansea, they were all about pushing me to claim PPI back. Very persistent!

Today I got called twice from this number, once early in the morning around 9.30 and then again in the evening about 7.30. Both times, I could barely hear anything except some vague noises like someone trying to talk, then nothing. On the last call, the bloke said his name was Jordan and claimed he worked for some insurance firm. I was so fed up by then that I snapped, yelling, "Stop bothering me! I'm on the TPS list!" and then just hung up on him.

This number rang me about half past nine this morning, but luckily I wasn’t home to answer. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, and I don’t recall hearing from this number before. Pretty sure it won’t be the last time either! Honestly, the amount of spam and scam calls nowadays is ridiculous. You sign up for the TPS and still get bombarded nonstop.

We keep gettin calls from this number non stop. We just let it ring cause it pops up on the caller ID and we don’t recognise it. Does anyone have a clue who it might be? Proper annoying honestly!
