I picked up and they just went silent and hung up. Honestly, don’t waste your time answering, it's likely they’re checking if the number is active.

Just got a new phone number and haven't shared it with anyone yet. Then I started getting calls from some random numbers, no one usually picks up. Feels like one of them’s probably a scam.

i usually dont pick up calls from unknown numbers, so i wanted to find out who it was before answering.

Total scam. Got an automated message saying I’d won an iPad or £1000. Of course, never received a thing. Didn’t even bother opting out, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

somebody rang me sayin I’d won like a grand or an ipad, and that they’d ring me again the next day. they said press 9 if I wanted out, so i did for sure. no way it’s legit cause companies don’t just hand out cash for free, they’d be broke quick. I’m definitely not falling for it.
