Got a call from an 0843 number on my phone today. Didn’t pick up and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail or anything.

Got a call from 08435485558, sounded dodgy. Apparently it was one of those robocalls pretending to be from an urgent blood donation service. I’m not taking any chances so I blocked it straight away. If you see this number pop up, do the same - starve them off your phone! Could be a scam messing with real emergency calls for blood transfusions, which is just awful. I’ve reported it to Ofcom and BT to try and get them shut down ASAP. These scammers should face proper action for wasting everyone’s time like that.
