I reckon this is one of those dodgy scams. Some unknown number keeps ringing, then they just cut off, probably hoping you’ll ring back out of curiosity. I gave in and called them back, and my 6-second call ended up costing me 52p! Not a fortune, but if they’re nicking that from loads of people, they must be raking it in. Proper cheeky sort of people!

Lately, loads of weird numbers have been ringing me but I never pick up if I don't know who it is. Funny thing is, these random calls started popping up not long after I mentioned to my mobile company that I'm thinking of switching. Virgin Mobile, seriously? Trying sneaky stuff like that is pretty low, but well, I’m not falling for it!
