I recently got a rather dodgy call claiming I was in the running to win an iPad. The voice on the other end mentioned that if I fancied a shot at it, I should press a certain button, but if I wasn’t interested, I could simply press 9 to opt out. Naturally, I pressed 9! Seems highly likely to be a scam, so best to steer clear of it!

I recently got a rather curious phone call claiming that I could be in the running for a brand new iPad. The caller mentioned I could either join in by pressing a specific number or simply opt out by hitting 9. Naturally, I went with the latter and pressed 9! I have a strong suspicion this is nothing more than a scam, so I would advise everyone to be cautious.

I received a recorded message claiming I could be the lucky winner of an iPad when I picked up my phone. They gave me the option to either join in or opt out by pressing 9, so naturally, I pressed 9. Just a heads up, it could all be a bit dodgy. I'd recommend grabbing a call-blocking app for your phone to fend off these unwanted calls.

I just let it ring, I'm so fed up with dodgy calls and random numbers popping up. I guess I should just block them all.
