Just received a call from this number a mere three minutes ago. Unfortunately, I missed it and didn’t manage to answer in time, so I used 1471 to check the number. I’m with Speak Speak, by the way.

I keep getting calls on my business line from the number 08435 400357. I even tried returning the call and got a recorded message saying they were trying to reach us and would call back. We've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. What other options do we have to tackle this nuisance?

These individuals keep calling repeatedly, and as usual, we can't seem to pick up. It’s as if they never grasp that we’re not interested. Oddly enough, they’re using my broadband number-which I've never even heard of-leading me to suspect they've somehow obtained it from BT. It’s becoming quite a bother, to say the least.

Hi there! I've just received yet another call from a number that hung up before I could answer. It's making me suspect that this might be a cunning tactic by BT to nudge me into dialling 1471!

Received a recorded call today and decided to press "5" to speak with someone. I wanted to ask them to remove my details from their database. I've done this with various other companies before, and they've usually been quite respectful, sometimes even offered apologies. However, with this particular company, we seem to be hitting a brick wall.

I’ve started getting a single ring each day from this number. At the moment, we're with TalkTalk through the Post Office. It looks like TalkTalk is mentioned quite a bit around here, and it's safe to say I’ll be passing them on soon since my experience with these callers has been nothing short of dreadful!

Received a call earlier today at precisely 10:34. It seems these folks are rather clueless about who they’re contacting. Automated systems tend to randomly ring numbers that aren’t even connected to them. We prefer to let them ramble on; after all, the longer they chatter, the more it hits them in the pocket. Let them fume, we just find it amusing!

Ugh! Just got a call from this number, and it turns out to be some automated service harping on about unlimited calls! Honestly, what a nuisance! It's becoming quite the annoyance, especially when it rings late at night or at the crack of dawn. What's interesting is that this number is different from the usual one that always bothers us with the same recorded message. I can't help but wonder how these folks managed to get our home number, and I do hope TalkTalk isn't involved in this nonsense. Is anyone else getting these pesky calls? Which company do you use for your phone service?

We received a call from this number just five minutes ago, and it has left us quite frustrated. It's infuriating how effortlessly companies like this are able to obtain our contact information.

Being a member of the Telephone Preference Service, I've noticed that for the past month or so, we've been bombarded with about two or three calls daily from this particular number. They keep trying to coerce us into pressing '2' if we want assistance with any outstanding debts. It's absolutely ridiculous! I've informed my phone provider about this nuisance, and I’m determined to escalate the issue. These kinds of companies are simply intolerable. And to those who are employed by them, perhaps it's time you sought out a genuine job, you lot!

As a TalkTalk subscriber, I've recently received a rather suspicious call. It had that typical recorded tone, you know the type that lures you in with offers like unlimited calls. They prompted us to hit '2' to accept, but we decided against pressing any buttons. Honestly, it’s best to steer clear and be cautious with these kinds of calls. Just a friendly heads up for anyone else receiving similar calls!

Received a call from this number earlier today. We decided to ring them back via Skype, and it turns out they’re one of those firms touting their ability to help you reclaim money for dodgy loan protection policies.

I've been getting calls from this number constantly, at all hours, on both my home phone and my office line, both linked to the same address. I've stopped bothering to find out who's on the other end. The moment I hear that robotic message kick in, I just hang up. I'm really hoping to figure out a way to put an end to these annoyances.

I've received yet another call from 08435400357, right on cue at the same time every single day. We're with Virgin, and quite frankly, it's becoming rather tiresome. Has anyone got any advice on what steps I can take to put an end to this incessant nuisance?

I received a call from this number earlier today. We decided to give them a ring back via Skype, and it turns out they're one of those firms that assert they can help you reclaim funds for mishandled credit protection sales. Quite the unexpected encounter!

This number rings, but hangs up the moment you pick up. Utterly infuriating! I rang back and got a recorded message claiming they were reaching out about a refund on loan insurance, indicating someone would ring back. What a bunch of parasitic leeches! The last time it happened, we were in the midst of a critical repair, and I had to abandon the task just to answer the phone, only to discover it was this dodgy number. They really owe us, and I’m keen on seeing them face some financial consequences or, at the very least, getting them silenced for good!

We've recently received a call from this number, and I'm on the ex-directory list and registered with the TPS. After contacting our phone provider, they confirmed that the number belongs to an international firm. Apparently, these callers aren't obligated to follow the TPS guidelines or comply with UK regulations. Unfortunately, we're currently unable to block these calls, but the telecom companies are investigating the matter.

Blimey, these folk seem to acquire numbers from dodgy old lists and electoral rolls, don't they? It’s probably wiser just to ignore their calls or, if you do pick up, have a laugh and claim you're running a Chinese takeaway! 😂

Blimey, Jules! It seems like these folks acquire the digits from buying outdated directories or through ballot information. Best not to expect much in terms of answers, or you might as well inquire about your local Chinese takeaway, ha!

Just a short while ago-around five minutes, in fact-we received the exact same phone call. Our service is through BT. I’m intrigued about how straightforward it is to prevent these pesky calls since they always seem to ring in during the most inconvenient moments!

I've been getting around three to four calls daily from this number, all featuring a pre-recorded message regarding reclaiming payment protection insurance. It's quite tiresome! Does anyone know how I can stop these incessant calls or report the number?

We're bombarded with calls from this number both day and night. Since we're busy working during the daytime, we return home to discover five or six missed calls from the same line. On top of that, another number is constantly pestering our mobile. It's quite the nuisance, especially with the landline ringing endlessly and our O2 (Carphone Warehouse, or as some might call it, Speak Talk) mobile buzzing away! What a palaver!

We keep getting calls from this number trying to peddle payment protection insurance. Ha! Not a chance! Just give BT a bell, and for less than four quid a week, you can opt to block these pests from bothering you. It’s absolutely fantastic! You can prevent any number from getting through, and those annoying callers will be kept at bay for good. All it takes is entering your passcode and the number you want to block, and then it’s farewell to those unwelcome interruptions. We had a Samsung, so adding numbers to the reject list is a doddle. Wishing you the best of luck!

I received a call from the number 08435400357 earlier today. Honestly, these folks are such a nuisance. Instead of bothering the living, perhaps they should target those who've already shuffled off this mortal coil!

I recently received a call from the same number, but I chose not to answer since it seemed dubious. I'm also with Speak Speak. Ever since I switched my phone provider, it's been a barrage of calls from unknown numbers. Quite the nuisance, really!
