It’s only then that you find out there’s a £42.26 one-time charge to extend your so-called free protection from just UK sources to overseas ones-a detail casually sprinkled into a single line of the convoluted small print that’s cleverly hidden behind a tiny link on the main page. The company boasts about being able to scrutinise your phone activity to track down the culprits behind the spam; if they’re accessing your phone provider's data to do so, that’s bordering on illegal… otherwise, it’s just a tall tale. It appears that any actual blocking they manage relies on third-party services who supposedly reach out to known scammers to get them to scrub your number from their lists. Best to steer well clear of these charlatans!
