Just noticed my phone bill went up by 96p, and it was from the DWP. The call lasted barely 3 seconds, so I’m baffled how it costs that much. Not a huge amount, but it feels totally unfair!

somebody said they were from barclays but it's definitely a con!

so i rang the dwp to ask about my mum’s pension and blimey, the call was pricey. after just 12 minutes on the phone, the bill shot up to £8. not cheap at all!

this number rang me like three times in just one hour once, then a few days later it called again and someone at home picked up, and it ended up costing me £5! these lot are nothing but crooks and scammers. if i knew how to track them down, i’d send them a bill for bugging me. seriously, just block this number, it’s not worth the bother.
