Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE. I chatted with him for a bit but didn’t really trust what he was saying. Then he asked me to confirm my bank details again, saying there was an issue with their system. I’d had enough by then, so I said I’m actually with Vodafone, not EE, and he just cut the call straight away. Classic scam!

Had a guy on the phone with a heavy accent pretending to be from Currys PC World talking about selling me an iPhone 14. Turns out it was all a con - they got me to hand over my personal details, sent me a phone, then said oops, they’d sent the wrong one by mistake. After that, they wanted the phone returned, but by then they already had all my info. Seriously, don’t fall for it!!

Like the others here, I got someone who just said I’m still active on this number and then rang back again without fail.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, all chipper, claiming he was calling on behalf of the EE network. I told him I doubted that since he probably wouldn’t be ringing me up if he really worked for EE - our family plan is sorted, and I’m not the account holder. Looks like a classic scam to me, so best just block the number and move on.
