My father-in-law, who is battling dementia, was duped into shelling out £215 for some utterly useless insurance from these crooks. We’ve tried getting hold of the company to sort out a refund, but to no avail. Steer clear of these chancers-complete scammers!

My father was charged £105.99 for some Sky insurance. Initially, I managed to get in touch with them, and they assured me that they would process a refund and send a letter regarding it. However, that letter has yet to arrive, and now I've been unable to reach them at all. To add to my frustration, it seems the address they provided isn't valid either, as mentioned by someone else before.

Yet another fraudulent operation... This so-called SKY insurance firm is a complete sham. They assure you that you’ll receive your funds back, but it’s all just a load of nonsense. To make matters worse, the address they provide, 3 Gold Green, Birmingham, B15 3WE, is a phantom location that can’t be traced. Total waste of time!

I received a phone call claiming that my father had to renew his Sky Protect at a steep cost of £129. When I probed them about their identity and pointed out how pricey that sounded, their attitude turned rather unpleasant. So, I decided to reach out to Sky directly to clarify our Sky Protect situation. They assured me that the call did not originate from them, and we actually pay a monthly fee that doesn't require any renewal. Definitely do not put your faith in these callers!

I've come across a number linked to an alleged insurance firm that has siphoned off £100 from the bank account of an elderly woman I look after. It’s quite concerning!

I've received a couple of letters from a firm calling itself SPC, which claims to provide insurance coverage for satellite equipment, televisions, and the like. They mentioned they intended to take money from my credit card without me having any previous dealings with them. The first letter hit my doormat on the 16th of March, and when I rang the provided number, I was fortunate enough to get through to someone. They said I was entitled to a refund, but it was a bit puzzling as they didn't have any of my banking information. Then, on the 18th of May, I got another letter from the same SPC lot. They had the same phone number listed, but a different address, yet again asserting their intention to deduct funds from my account. I tried to call the number again, but it cuts off after a few rings-very dodgy! I promptly alerted my bank about the situation, just in case this company attempts to access my account. Strangely, the bank confirmed that this is a scam, and they'll be keeping an eye out for any unusual activity stemming from them. Additionally, I reached out to the firm that provides my actual insurance, hoping to see if this SPC was in any way affiliated with them. Their response was a firm no. I cannot emphasise enough to be cautious about this SPC outfit based in Birmingham-do not share any of your personal details with them!

I've tried calling this number, and it just keeps ringing before abruptly disconnecting. Looks like another dodgy scam to me.
