08434109587 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 08434109587 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance caller linked to automated cold calls, particularly about debt relief and insurance offers. Many recipients, despite being ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, report frequent, unwanted calls often without a live operator on the line. The calls tend to be intrusive, disturbing households including the elderly and families with babies, and are sometimes followed by new numbers when blocked. This number is associated with unsolicited telemarketing practices perceived by many as borderline scam activity. Complainants advise reporting these calls to the ICO and TPS, emphasising that such persistent and automated marketing is unwelcome and potentially illegal under current regulations. Blocking the number offers some relief but may not fully prevent repeat contact from related sources.

I have received six calls from this particular number. Just like many others, I am listed as ex-directory and have registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). I rarely share my number with anyone, as I have a separate line that I use for work purposes. However, I did provide my number to Samsung recently when I needed something repaired. It's possible that this could be a random dialing situation, and they persist in calling because my answering machine picks up the call. In my opinion, cold calling should be outlawed. My elderly parents, who are both in their 80s, experience daily influxes of cold calls. These unwanted callers should be held accountable and charged for each call they place.

I'm extremely frustrated with this particular number. Every day, it keeps showing up on my landline. I've registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), but even that doesn't seem to be sufficient.

I am fed up with these annoying silent calls. Being ex-directory, how on earth did they manage to get hold of my number?

I have also been contacted by this number regarding debt write-offs. I have added it to my list of blocked numbers, but the company continues to call using different numbers every few days. I have about 10 numbers on my blocked list already, but I am certain they will soon return with a new one.

I constantly receive calls even though my number is ex-directory and I never give out my landline, only my mobile. It's quite frustrating!

They persistently call us regarding the possibility of debt write-off, causing disturbances to both us and our baby. We would like to put an end to this.

If you wish to make a complaint regarding a pre-recorded message from TPS Online, their website suggests contacting the ICO ([email protected]). Provide them with all relevant information about the call, including the number called, and confirmation of your previous registration with TPS, MPS, and other similar organizations.

This afternoon, to my surprise, I received a phone call for the very first time. I have no idea how they obtained my number since it is ex-directory, but it is possible that they acquired it from a website where I registered. I strongly dislike this intrusive form of marketing, as only dishonest individuals would engage in such tactics.

I keep receiving annoying automated calls, even though I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and have an ex-directory number. It's frustrating because my voicemail greeting specifically states that we won't answer calls from international, withheld, unavailable, or any other unidentified numbers. I ask callers to leave their name and number if they wish to speak with us so we can get back to them. However, this tactic doesn't work against these bothersome automated calls. We never give out our home number and prefer to use our mobile for that purpose if necessary. I'm baffled as to how these companies are getting hold of our number. It has reached a point where I am incredibly angry and utterly tired of receiving these calls.

You have received an automated call, asking you to settle your debt. It instructs you to press 5 in order to receive an information pack. It is quite evident that this is a fraudulent scheme.

We totally get it; sometimes it's just wise to ignore landline calls altogether. It's like 99.9% of the time, it's just folks like this ringing up. Rather disheartening, isn't it?

Turned up at the office to discover I had four missed calls from this number. I only had my phone line installed three days prior. Strangely, there weren’t any messages left.

Encountered the same issue! It’s utterly frustrating-there’s no real person to speak to, just a monotonous, pre-recorded spiel trying to sell home insurance. What a waste of time!

I received a robocall trying to sell me home insurance. It was clearly just a recording, rather than a genuine person on the line. They didn't even bother to mention the name of their company-just left me with a number to call if I was interested. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

This number pesters us at least once every day. Honestly, the folks behind it could do with a stern talking to-perhaps even a good slap across the face! It’s beyond irritating.

This number keeps calling us at least four times a day! We figured out who it is by using 1471 after the last call. At this point, we’ve decided not to answer anymore. They are such a bother!

We’ve had similar experiences; it seemed like a legitimate business calling regarding debt assistance.
