I'm a bit puzzled as to why you reckon this is linked to National Debt Relief. I've been bombarded with calls from these folks and it turns out they're actually known as Best Debt Help. After having a chat with them, they assured me they'd take my number off their list. I didn't receive any calls yesterday, which is promising, but I'm rather sceptical. If I don't hear from them again, it's likely they'll just hand over my details to another telemarketing outfit.

This raises suspicions that one of the agencies I consider trustworthy may have sold my information without my consent, and I would like to address this misuse of my personal data promptly. The nature of your automated call did not clarify this matter, nor did it disclose that I would incur a charge by answering. The number in question is ***** ****** I would appreciate a swift response to my inquiry. Additionally, as I am now at a loss of 23p due to your unwelcome "service," please be advised that you have a period of 10 working days to provide the details I've requested. Should you fail to do so within this timeframe, I will have to impose a holding fee of £50 per day to cover the costs of seeking legal assistance in obtaining this information. Got a call from an 0843 410 number again, just someone wasting my time. Seriously, what's the point?

Got a call from some lot claiming they could clear 70% of my debt. Sounded fishy right away! Really wish these firms would make themselves known so we can get them reported properly.

Got a robo call about clearing debts or something, sounded like total nonsense to me. Probably just another scam, so I ignored it.

Just got one of those annoying telemarketers ringing again. What a pain!

In the past quarter of an hour, I got two calls from 08434 numbers - pretty sure they're from debt collectors or something alike. Luckily, the caller ID is handy 'cos I just don't pick up.

They kept ringing me but I just wouldn’t pick up.

This number keeps ringing me like twice every day, it's so annoying! Does anyone know a way I can stop it from calling me?

You wouldn’t believe it. My phone is stuffed with around 30 blocked numbers, all from these annoying callers who are worse than pests. Earlier today I decided to clear out some numbers that hadn’t called for ages, and one of these got removed. Not long after, they ring me again. I pick up, hang up straight away, and then they call right back. Did the same thing once more when they rang again. When I looked at the blocked list, turns out these lot have loads of different numbers - 08438622815, 08433771405, 08438320122, 08438320132, 08438320115, 08438320144, 08438320119 - and all of them are blocked now. No clue who they are or what they want, but I’ll just keep blocking every number they use.

No idea who was calling so I just ignored it.

I came across a company that reportedly prevents pesky cold calls. I've seen quite a few positive mentions about it, I think it might be called Rang House Guard.

We contacted this number thinking it might be useful, but upon returning the call, there was no identification provided. Quite curious, isn't it?

It's impossible to opt out, as the calls go directly to our voicemail and option nine is utterly useless. What a bunch of muppets!

I’m absolutely worn out with the incessant calls from businesses every single day, all in pursuit of their own interests! It's as though they couldn't care less about the annoyance they're causing us.

Called in the early afternoon, interrupting our rest.

These persistent callers just won't take a hint! They keep ringing our home phone, and if we don’t pick up, they casually dial our mobiles about ten minutes later. It’s always the same old spiel about clearing debts. The trouble is, we’re completely debt-free!

I've decided to give those pesky cold callers a taste of their own medicine. I'm curious to find out if blocking their number on my phone will actually make a difference.
