I received an automated call from PPi about some sort of insurance or claim matter. The recorded message mentioned that they could help eliminate as much as 70% of my debts. I must say, this has all the hallmarks of a scam!

I received an automated message that went something like this: "Should your debt surpass £5,000, you might be eligible to have 75% wiped off! Press 5 for further information." Honestly, don’t bother returning the call; it’s from an 08... number, which means you'll pay extra fees. The last time I returned one of those calls, I ended up with an £11 bill!
