Does anyone recognise the people behind 08434106629? They’ve nicked my ex-directory number. Someone told me they’re a Scottish debt collection firm, but where exactly in Scotland? Surely someone out there knows who these dodgy folks are.

Loads of the calls I get either just cut off or it's some recorded voice.

Mostly stuff about PPI, debts, or injury claims.

I probably get about 10 of these annoying calls every week.

It's really frustrating because my phone’s meant to be just for emergencies - my two disabled kids rely on me being able to answer immediately.

They keep calling me over and over but I just dont pick up. And Im ex-directory, so Im guessing they must have got my number off someone somewhere.

Got a voicemail from this number about a work-from-home thing. The company name sounded like "Legacy" or something similar. They said I signed up to get updates on job offers, which is rubbish because I definitely didn’t. There were two choices - press 5 for details or 9 to stop getting calls. I just ended the call, but it’s strange how they even knew I was working from home when I’m not on any lists.
