Got a call from this number today - I hardly ever switch on my pay-as-you-go phone unless absolutely needed. I actually cancelled Vodafone yesterday after getting loads of calls from them, then out of nowhere this number rings. Bit fishy if you ask me. Bet they’re up to no good and should really be taken to court. Does anyone have any idea if there’s a way to block them or put a stop to this?

Got a missed call from this number today, but I wasn’t going to pick up! My rule is pretty simple: if it’s something urgent, they’ll leave a voicemail, otherwise, no point ringing me again. Works for any random calls I don’t recognise. Easy peasy ;)

I’m convinced that when you enter those competitions and give your mobile number to sign up, they end up selling your details somewhere. Or maybe it’s the mobile providers themselves doing the dodgy business, selling our numbers behind the scenes. If there’s anyone out there who’s good at tracking down where these calls come from, they should definitely take action and shut these people down for good.
