0843 410 9174 0843 410 0375 0845 450 5483 0161 919 7090 Just recently I’ve been receiving loads of automated calls from these numbers. The 0161 number turns out to be from British Gas, linked to a loft insulation survey. Another one’s from an electricity company in Northern Ireland, and one more is connected to a government assistance agency. What’s odd is all these calls (14 in total) started right after the initial call from the British Gas number on that same day. Seems like they’re all somehow related.

If you’ve got an HTC, you can indeed put a stop to unwanted calls. It’s quite simple, really. Just add the number you wish to block as a contact, call them whatever tickles your fancy, and then just go ahead and block that contact. We’ve got an HTC ourselves and followed this very method-it works a treat!
