I’ve recently been bombarded with automated calls from a few numbers: 0843 410 0375, 0843 410 9174, and 0845 450 5483, along with the 0161 919 7090. It all started just a couple of days back. I recognise the 0161 prefix; that's from British Gas, calling to follow up on a survey about loft insulation. One of the other numbers appears to be linked to an electricity provider from Northern Ireland, while another seems to belong to a department offering assistance. It’s curious how all these calls seem to have kicked off right after the one from British Gas, with a total of 14 interruptions since then!

If you’ve got an HTC, you can indeed put a stop to unwanted calls. It’s quite simple, really. Just add the number you wish to block as a contact, call them whatever tickles your fancy, and then just go ahead and block that contact. We’ve got an HTC ourselves and followed this very method-it works a treat!
