I've been getting calls from this number constantly. Whenever I pick up and ask what they want, they just end the call right away. I suppose I ought to block them, but I'm curious why they believe it’s alright to keep ringing me like this. It’s really annoying and feels like harassment. Can anyone tell me who owns this number? It keeps calling my wife’s phone nonstop, luckily she never picks up. I’m puzzled how they got hold of her number since we definitely haven’t shared it with anyone ourselves. The only explanation is that some company or organisation we’ve dealt with must be selling our details. I’m going to get in touch with our mobile network and ask them to block it, and honestly, anyone else dealing with this should do the same. It’s really irritating and I reckon the authorities should be cracking down on this sort of thing. Bet folks like the Queen or even Donald Trump don’t have to deal with rubbish like this. What’s your take? Maybe it’s time we all start complaining to our providers, and if they’re useless, then switch when the contract’s up. Never ring or reply to these sorts of numbers, seriously, it can cost you loads of your hard earned cash. Why not turn the tables and mess with the scammers a bit? Not saying commit any crimes or anything, but numbers like these seriously should be blocked or stopped somehow - it’s tough though. If they keep calling and it’s just a waste of your time, just pick up and don’t say a word, hang about on the line as long as you can or chuck the phone somewhere out of reach, haha. If these dodgy numbers drain your time, why not give 'em a taste of their own medicine? Maybe then they’d get the message. Imagine if loads of us did this, it’d be them losing money and time instead of us! Just like they do to all of us every day... cheers!
