Got a call from a bloke again today, he already knew my name, where I live and postcode. He asked if I wanted a free weekly magazine, I replied, "So now you probably want my bank info?" He said yes, for direct debit. If it was free, why the need for my bank details? Heard loads of noise in the background like it was a call centre. Told him no way and hung up straight away.

I’ve been bombarded with phone calls every Sunday morning-three or four times at least! It all kicks off with them asking for me, and when that goes nowhere, they move on to pestering my relatives. It’s rather suspicious, if you ask me, but it all seems to have started after I submitted an entry for a competition. I assume it’s one of the sponsors, as these competition and giveaway sites often mention that third parties might reach out to you. They’ve clearly found a way to circumvent my call-blocking efforts; it’s like they’re hopping from one call centre to another, hence why their numbers keep changing. I received a rather peculiar phone call from that number inquiring about my granddaughter, which I found odd since she doesn’t reside with me. When I probed further, asking if it was urgent, he replied negatively. I then pressed for more clarity about the nature of his call, but his response was rather vague. I was genuinely perplexed and had no intention of divulging any information regarding my granddaughter. Once more, I inquired about the importance of his call, to which he dismissively stated it didn’t matter and promptly disconnected. I couldn't help but feel he was a bit dodgy.

I've been receiving calls from this number twice a day regarding something they refer to as "the week," and it's rather irritating.

Just blocked 0843 381 0233 - they've been ringing me a couple of times a day since the 26th of July. I think it started when I signed up for some freebie deliveries to the house. Within a minute, £5 got taken from my phone credit because they kept sending texts back and forth. Not sure if it’s the same outfit, but it seems way too coincidental to be nothing.
