Got a call from a bloke again today, he already knew my name, where I live and postcode. He asked if I wanted a free weekly magazine, I replied, "So now you probably want my bank info?" He said yes, for direct debit. If it was free, why the need for my bank details? Heard loads of noise in the background like it was a call centre. Told him no way and hung up straight away.

Yeah, so I once replied to one of those lifestyle surveys and there was a question asking if I wanted to get calls from a magazine offering extra stuff for just a pound a month. I said no, but the woman on the phone said it wasn’t compulsory and she'd just tick yes, saying I could always say no later! Since then, this number has been ringing me like three times daily. I’ve blocked it now, and honestly, my tip is to say no to all those survey calls from the start.

They ring me pretty much every day, sometimes even 3 or 4 times on a Sunday morning. At first they ask for me, but if I’m not picking up, they try other family members instead. I reckon it all started when I entered a competition online. Probably one of the sponsors, since the competition site did warn about third parties contacting you. They seem to get round call blocking somehow, maybe by bouncing the call through different centres so the number changes and isn’t on the block list. It’s getting seriously annoying and honestly, this sort of thing needs stopping. No one wants to deal with this every day.

Keep getting calls trying to push a subscription for "The Week" magazine. Would really like to find out which dodgy company is behind this. I’m on the do not call list, TPS registered and all that.

Just blocked 0843 381 0233 - they've been ringing me a couple of times a day since the 26th of July. I think it started when I signed up for some freebie deliveries to the house. Within a minute, £5 got taken from my phone credit because they kept sending texts back and forth. Not sure if it’s the same outfit, but it seems way too coincidental to be nothing.
