I'm really fed up with receiving calls from this number! I've taken to ignoring it altogether and letting it ring through to voicemail, but curiously, there's never a message left! What could the reason possibly be? If their call was genuinely important, wouldn't you expect them to drop a message? It's all rather puzzling!

I seem to be receiving continual calls from that number. Thankfully, my phone has a feature that automatically screens out nuisance calls, but it’s still quite bothersome!

I’m absolutely fed up with picking up the phone only to be met with silence! Is this racking up my bills? I've been under the weather lately, and these incessant calls interfere with me being reachable for my loved ones! Additionally, I have an elderly mother, and I’m her go-to person in case of a crisis. One would think the phone companies could take some action. My husband has even suggested we might ditch the landline altogether, and frankly, if these telecom firms continue to sit on their hands regarding these pesky nuisance calls, they could find themselves losing a significant amount of customers! It's high time our government stepped in as well!

I experienced something similar regarding the warranty for my Samsung television, but funnily enough, my telly isn’t even a Samsung! When I rang them again, the representative greeted me by name straight away, which gave me a bit of a fright. It’s rather concerning how they had my details to hand, as they were also aware of my address when they initially contacted me.

I’m absolutely fed up with these money-hungry con artists! It’s incredibly frustrating how they ring at all hours, and I haven’t got a clue how they even got hold of my number! Their persistence is maddening, and it feels completely invasive. I really hope there’s a way to put a stop to these pesky nuisances once and for all.

It's baffling how the authorities seem to turn a blind eye to such harassment. I’ve stopped answering my phone altogether; my husband has taken to using a code when he calls. It’s just a shame that we’ve had to take such drastic measures.

Whenever I pick up the phone and say hello, there’s always this awkward silence before they cut the call. It’s absolutely infuriating! I’m nearly at the stage where I’m just going to stop answering altogether.

I'm quite fed up with their incessant calls. One moment they pick up, and the next, it's complete silence. I reached my breaking point and had to tell them to bugger off!

I seem to be inundated with calls from this number, yet there's never anyone on the other end. It happens at all hours, and I can't help but feel like I'm being harassed. Is this really acceptable?

Received a rather persistent call from a chap regarding the warranty on my Samsung television. He was far too eager to obtain my bank information. Next time he rings, I might just give him a good blast of a whistle!

I called to have a word with my spouse regarding the expiration of the Hitachi TV warranty. When I inquired about when it was due to end, he mentioned he wasn't certain but promised to get back to me once my husband was around. We shall see if he follows through…

This number calls me daily, and I simply let it ring without answering. I reckon one of these days I might just pick up and tell them to get lost!

This number keeps calling me several times each day, but when I pick up, they just hang up. It's rather vexing!

I just had a chap call me, claiming he wanted to discuss the Samsung telly I own. When I pointed out that it’s a Sony, he promptly dropped the line. I wouldn't be surprised if he was gearing up to pitch some kind of warranty or extended guarantee. This has become a right nuisance, happening at least a dozen times over the past week, all regarding electrical appliances around the house. If you ask me, my little trick is to ask them to hang on for a minute while I fetch the homeowner. It’s quite amusing to hear them on the other end, repeatedly saying, "Hello? Is anyone there?" after about ten minutes. Cracks me up!

I receive calls from this number nearly every day. This morning they claimed my warranty for a Beko washing machine was about to expire. I promptly informed them that I own a Hotpoint, and then they hung up straight away! Quite the cheek, isn't it?

I've been getting calls from them lately - sometimes twice a day for the last fortnight! I'm on the TPS list, and it's really frustrating that I can't even inform them of this when I answer the phone. It’s so maddening that there’s never anyone on the other end when I pick up!

This number keeps ringing me daily, but every time I pick up, there's nothing on the other end. It's incredibly frustrating! I really wish they'd just stop; it’s such a bother, especially when they have the audacity to call at 8 in the morning. I'm retired and still trying to enjoy a bit of a lie-in!

I received a call from a woman claiming that the warranty on our washing machine had lapsed. I informed her that it was an unexpected call and promptly ended the conversation.

I've been inundated with calls, I'd say a few each week over the past couple of months. It all kicked off with a particularly annoying day when I got four of them! After that first barrage, I promptly added the number to my call blocker, and now they ring once before they get zapped. It seems they're quite relentless! The mention of appliance insurance rings a bell, though. I've been with the Telephone Preference Service for a good while now, but it feels like they could do a much better job of taking action against these nuisances.

I've been receiving calls from this number since last week, and it's been relentless-ringing me multiple times a day at all sorts of hours. If I don’t recognise the number, I simply ignore it. I’m bombarded daily by calls from all sorts of characters, whether it’s about funeral arrangements or those ridiculous claims about my supposed arthritis. To set the record straight, I do NOT have arthritis and have never indicated otherwise. It's honestly becoming a bit overwhelming. Apologies, but I can't provide any assistance with this.

I recently came across this firm that offers extended warranties for home appliances: http://www.homeapplianceguard.co.uk. I’ve lodged a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) because they seem to be employing overseas representatives to conduct surveys. They then utilise that data to peddle their products - I found this out directly from one of their agents who openly admitted it, which matched up with some of the misleading information I supplied to their survey team! It’s quite apparent this is a calculated move to dodge UK legislation on telemarketing regulations. I have requested the TPS to investigate this matter further, and I’m keen to see what action they might take.

I've received calls from this number on two occasions within the last couple of days. Fortunately, thanks to the insights shared on this site, I chose not to pick up. I completely concur that these kinds of calls ought to be put to an end.

I received a call from someone named Luke. He was inquiring about either myself or Mrs. He mentioned something about our warranty expiring on our Hotpoint washing machine. However, the truth is, we don’t even own one! I informed him he must have dialled the wrong number and promptly ended the conversation. Honestly, the smartest move in such situations is to mention you’ll fetch them and then just hang up for a bit.

What a load of nonsense! The moment I picked up, they just went silent and then cut off. I decided to call them back to give them a piece of my mind, but their voicemail was just a ridiculous automated message saying something about waiting to be put through to an agent. Clearly, it’s a dodgy operation! I really wish I could track down these scoundrels and give them a proper talking-to.

This number turns out to be a right con! When on earth are the telecom regulators in our country going to step in and shield us unfortunate souls from these dodgy characters? We're seriously considering scrapping our home landline just to free ourselves from this hassle. It really needs to come to an end!

Hello there!

I recently received what seemed to be an automated phone call. The recorded message urged me to return the call. It’s blatantly a scam! If one were to ring them back, the charges are outrageous, around a quid a minute or thereabouts! Please exercise caution with this dodgy operation.
