They said they were from Scottish Power but couldn’t even tell me when my contract would finish. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call saying they were from Scottish Power, but didn’t even know the name on the account. They were pushing some special renewal deal, which is odd since the renewal isn’t due anytime soon. Seemed dodgy to me, so I just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

For weeks now, this number keeps ringing me multiple times a day, and it’s from Esure insurance. Every time I pick up, the call just ends straight away. I decided to ring back and ended up speaking to a guy called Josh Hall in their sales team. I made it clear that if they don’t remove our number from their database, we’ll have to get lawyers involved. Our number is definitely signed up with the TPS.
