Got a call from PHS today, they were trying to get me to set up a direct debit with them.

I work part time as a secretary for a small community club. Yesterday, I got a call from this number saying they were from a firm we usually work with. I was a bit wary since they asked to talk to someone in accounts. I decided to humour them and they mentioned wanting the club to set up a direct debit to simplify payments. They obviously didn’t know how small our club is, but I kept it going and gave them an email address that actually isn’t linked to the company we normally deal with.

Not really sure, they just left half a message and then stopped.

i got this automated message from a woman, saying if i call back using a specific number ill be connected. problem is, i havent called anyone recently, not today or yesterday, so it feels fishy. is it one of those tricks to get you to dial a premium rate, or am i just being paranoid?
