I received a call that went straight to my voicemail without a word spoken. I couldn't make any outgoing calls for a good twenty minutes! It seemed like they were just keeping the line open without hanging up. I recently caught a segment on BBC News 24 regarding phone scams where fraudsters claim that individuals owe money and demand credit card details to settle the bill; if not, they threaten disconnection. Don't be fooled by this nonsense!

Today, I received two calls from these individuals who promptly hung up as soon as we answered. It’s really quite vexing, even though I do my utmost to brush it off.

This number has been ringing us at least twice daily, and it's becoming exceedingly vexing. Every time we pick up, there's silence on the other end, and far too often, they hang up without a word. The identity of these callers remains a mystery, as well as their intentions. We've now saved the number in our contacts, labelling it as a nuisance. So, whenever they dare to call again, we simply hang up without a second thought.
