Got a call from some robot voice claiming I had a big legal issue linked to my national insurance number. They never actually used my name or my full NI number. The message warned it was my final chance to check the charges or else it’d be too late, and told me to phone back. Just like others, I got a bogus call. My voicemail picked it up so I didn’t hear the beginning of the message. It was supposedly from Mike Wilson at HMRC. The weird bit was the ending - he said “Have a blest day,” which honestly sounds nothing like something anyone here would say. If you’ve got caller ID, best not to pick up. Block the number if you can and don’t bother with it.

I keep getting calls from the same number, just like on the 26th and 27th, and the message is exactly the same each time. I reckon these numbers must’ve been cut off by the post office’s communication team a while ago. The post office definitely knows who owns these numbers, but I doubt they’ll do anything since someone’s still paying the phone bills for them.

I looked up the number through BT and it’s registered to Globecom International Ltd. Funny how things go, just a couple of weeks back someone messaged me saying I’d bagged 300,000 euros from the Euro lottery. Life's weird like that!

Watch out! I just received a dodgy call claiming to be from HMRC, supposedly about a lawsuit against me. The caller, a Mike Wilson, tried to make it sound urgent. It's clear this could happen to anyone who picks up the phone. Honestly, I wouldn't advise you to return the call - it’s an absolute scam! HMRC always notifies you in writing first and you'd normally have a meeting at a DWP office or local council building, where you'd be, quite rightly, under caution if there were any serious issues. Don’t be fooled!

Got a voicemail this morning at about 8.30, just saw it now so can't say exactly who the call was from. The message warned me I was at risk of some serious legal trouble if I ignored it, supposedly from HMRC. Oddly, it finished with "Have a blessed day" - that’s how I usually sign off on my answerphone, but I actually mean it! These sorts of scams are awful and should definitely be stopped. They could really upset vulnerable people. I’m planning to report it both to the Telephone Preference Service, which I’m signed up to, and to HMRC as well.

i recently got a ring from this number but luckily my bt phone with a call blocker stopped it straight away. these sorts are just awful, always targeting older folks. if you can, invest in a phone or service that stops annoying calls. before i got my new phone, i was constantly dealing with these pest calls. cheers to this site for letting me verify if a blocked number is something i should worry about or just junk!

Got a voicemail just after 1 in the morning from some bloke who said he was Officer Mike Wilson with HMRC. He said I needed to ring back on 08433300024 to find out about a serious crime I’m supposedly involved in. Just a heads up to everyone - if they claim to be from a government body or some official UK organisation, don’t believe it. Also, be careful ringing back on the "business" number they give - it might charge you up to 55p a minute. Probably safest just to ignore these calls or maybe let OFCOM know about it.
