Got a call from someone claiming to be with North West Electricity. Said they had a list of vulnerable people and OAPs from the supplier and wanted to verify some information in case of a blackout. I told them it isn't possible to restore power to individual homes like that, and they just mumbled something about possibly sending a generator and other unclear services. Ended the call straight away. Never share your details with unknown callers - if it was real, they’d send a letter first, right?

I got a call from someone claiming they were with Northwest Power - which isn’t even the company we use for our electricity! They tried to tell me there was an issue with our electric, but I just hung up straight away.
