I got a call saying there was a big payment taken from my HSBC, asking me to ring the number provided to verify. Thing is, I don’t even hold an account with HSBC, so this has got to be some kind of scam. Watch out for this one!

BEWARE. If you ring this number back, expect a huge charge on your bill. Have a look at the details on this site’s front page about expensive phone numbers.
