this number rang me on the exact same day mentioned in the two comments above. funny enough, i think i ended up calling it back for just a few seconds and it cost me 22p! no idea why it charged so much for such a quick call, so watch out!

I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a robotic voice claiming I’d won an opportunity for £1,000 or perhaps an iPod. It all felt rather fishy, so I swiftly hung up and blocked the number. Definitely something amiss there!

A call came through and when I picked up, some automated voice was on the other end saying I'd won a chance at £1,000 or an iPad. It sounded really fishy so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
