This guy from Asia called me like 7 times in half a day, all pushy and quite rude. I ended up hanging up, then his mate called back moaning about me being rude! So I slammed the phone down again. They kept on ringing non stop until I had no choice but to disconnect our work phone altogether.

I've received a total of four calls in just one day from this lot, insisting I need to provide them with an Opus Bill. They claim to represent Opus, but I sensed something was off. The tone quickly turned confrontational, so I decided to terminate the call. Shortly after, another individual from their office rang me up to berate me for my supposed impoliteness. Best to steer clear of this number; they’re insistent, unprofessional, and quite frankly, dodgy scammers.

BEWARE!!! This is OPUS ENERGY and they use a costly premium number WITHOUT TELLING YOU. If, like me, you spent ages sorting out a big energy bill with them, you might later find out they charged you £40 per hour just for a call on your mobile! This feels like a complete rip-off from a UK firm, and nowhere on bills or letters does it say you're on a premium rate. The number is 0843 227 2377. It's just a quick cash grab by Opus, and I’m never using them for my business energy again. Seriously, get rid of your contract with these lot - it’s totally not right!

Said they was from sse, which is who I use. Tried to set up a meter appointment but I know they ain't allowed to do that. They keep ringing me on a Saturday and won't stop asking for my card info, so I've blocked the number. They said their name was Jack, sounds fishy if you ask me!

SCAM ALERT! Got a call from a woman called Veronica, supposedley from Opus Energy, telling me my contract needed renewing. Earlier today, I also had two other calls from different energy companies with Indian accents, all saying the exact same thing about new rates and contract renewal. Definitely steer clear of these calls!

Said they were Opus Energy, kept ringing non stop like 20 times in a row even tho I told them to stop. They told me I don’t have the right to ask them not to call! If that really is Opus Energy then there’s no way I’m staying with them. Then someone from their so called ‘Complaints Team’ rang me because apparently I’d complained about them asking to be left alone. Still get calls from them every day, lots of times back to back.

Utterly dodgy! They’re posing as Opus Energy, and when we questioned their authenticity, insisting they weren’t the genuine team, they just wouldn’t let up. They bombard us with calls, sometimes 6 or 7 a day, attempting to drive us to distraction with their relentless requests for confirmation and personal details. Best to steer clear of this number entirely!

Opus Energy Customer Service contact. Beware, this is a PREMIUM RATE NUMBER. I was charged £3.28 for just 11 minutes on my home phone, mostly waiting on hold, only for them to disconnect. Hey, has anyone else been called by this number and had anything to do with Just Eat? I recently got some new kit from Just Eat. This is a premium line and it charges an absolute fortune. Totally not worth calling. The support is awful, they keep you waiting ages just to rake in more cash from the call fees. Opus Energy really should be banned by OfGem or whoever's in charge, they’re probably the worst when it comes to customer care.

This is the official helpline for OPUS Energy, but it’s a premium rate number and calling it will set you back over £10 each time. DO NOT ring this customer service line. Instead, call the free number 0800 630 0841. Though, during the COVID-19 lockdown, this line hasn’t been answered much. Honestly, I’d steer clear of OPUS Energy altogether. They’re rude, don’t offer much help, and use all sorts of sneaky tactics to keep you tied in. Like ignoring your questions during the 30 day notice period and making it hard for other energy providers to take over. Just avoid them!!

How is it that fraudsters can take over a number like this to trick people or steal info? I reckon Tesco Mobile or Opus Energy ought to be doing more to protect customers from these dodgy charges.
