Received a call purporting to be from EE. I courteously indicated that I wished to terminate the conversation before they could even introduce themselves, and then I promptly blocked the number.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with EE, promising me a more attractive deal.

I decided to have a bit of fun, telling them I was 72 and acting all befuddled and hard of hearing. Truth is, I’m nowhere near that age!

After about five minutes of this charade, the caller abruptly hung up. Feels like they might have blocked my number instead of the other way round!
