I've received several calls from this number recently and after seeing what others said here, decided to block it. Usually, I avoid answering 0843 numbers altogether. Seems to me any trustworthy business wouldn’t ring from that kind of prefix.

Got a couple of calls from a lady with a South Asian accent over two days, saying she was ringing from EE about phone and contract upgrades. She didn’t even bother to check if I was an EE user, and kept pushing even after I told her I wasn’t interested multiple times. Eventually I just had to hang up because she wouldn’t take the hint and kept going on and on.
