I just found a voicemail in my email from an unknown number 814 766 2251. The message had an elderly lady’s voice saying something like “Hello, I’m Eileen, a cousin, just checking how she is. Maybe it’s not a good time to call as it’s close to lunch. I’ll try again later.” My mum actually passed away 2 years ago at 89, and we don't know any cousin with that name. I’ve gone ahead and deleted the voicemail. Sounds dodgy to me, so I won’t be calling back.

The only company with that name I managed to find is based in Australia, and I'm here in the UK. Just like the person before me, I found a voicemail from a Brenda Gonzales in my inbox with the email [email protected][###]. After reading others' cautions, I figured it was spam and chose to delete it without opening the voicemail link.

Got an email from Anne Butler at Anne.butler@sandringham[###], saying that a voicemail from 814-766-2251 was left and it was 42 seconds long. Trouble was, there was no actual voicemail to listen to, and the file attached wouldn’t open at all. Just deleted the whole thing.

Got an email from Brenda Gonzales telling me to give her a ring. It had a link to a wav audio file, which I’m sure is dodgy. Definitely don’t click on anything like that - just block the domain altogether.

Just got a call from ....@sandringham[###] saying I had a voicemail lasting 42 seconds from 814-766-2251. This time the caller used the name Karen Foster, but I reckon they switch it up a lot. Definitely don't ever tap on links in these sorts of messages - it’s risky stuff.

Frances Alexander - Email voicemail alert Avoid hitting the 'unsubscribe' button, it directs you to a site where the voicemail starts playing automatically. I accidentally clicked on it and since then, I've had to update all my passwords and run several virus scans to be safe.

Got an email from F.alexander@sandringham[###] saying Frances Alexander sent it. It said I had a voicemail from 814-766-2251. I didn’t dare click on any links, so I looked up the number and stumbled upon this thread to warn others. Definitely seems like spam or some dodgy scam.

Got an email from someone called Kathy Jackson saying there was an urgent voicemail waiting for me, linked to the number 8147662251. Turns out, this is a pricey phone number, so I didn’t bother calling back and just deleted the message straight away.
