These individuals are nothing but con artists, luring you into signing up for an IVA with Creditfix while masquerading as a charitable organisation. Please, don’t be taken in by their deceitful tactics. Ensure you’re in conversation with a legitimate charity and steer clear of these fraudsters.

Do take care, as I wouldn't trust a single thing these scammers say! A woman claiming to be Hanah rang me, insisting she was from SteopChange Debt Charity. The moment I picked up on how dodgy it all felt, I ended the call immediately.

I've come across a company masquerading as CHANGE DEBT SUPPORT / DEBT RELIEF SUPPORT / STEP TO CHANGE / STEP DEBT SUPPORT, claiming to be affiliated with the legitimate StepChange debt charity. Usually, it's a lot of different people like Peter Mureo, Mac, Abdul, or Michelle who give you a ring right after you've entered your number into a contact form on their site. They pretend to represent StepChange and pressure you into signing up for an IVA against your best interests. This behaviour is not only ethically reprehensible but also constitutes a criminal offence-purely fraudulent. Make sure to report them to Action Fraud, and do ensure you're in conversation with the genuine StepChange. Unlike this dubious outfit, the real StepChange will never push you into a debt solution that isn't tailored for your situation, nor would they ask you to embellish information on your application, which is precisely what these scammers do.

I've come across some dodgy characters masquerading as representatives of StepChange, the debt charity, and I can assure you, these people are not affiliated with them. One of the individuals that picks up the phone goes by the name of Peter Monroe or Munroe. It's crucial to note that he has absolutely no connection to StepChange. Please make sure to report this to Action Fraud and don't hesitate to block this number right away.
